    <Abstract>Background: Familial dysautonomia (FD), or Riley-Day syndrome, is mainly observed in Ashkenazi Jews. In this disease, the development of autonomic and sensory nerves is impaired, resulting in a reduction in the number of unmyelinated nerves and small-diameter myelinated axons. According to the literature review, oral and dental issues are among the common problems experienced by patients with FD. Thus, this study aimed to introduce a case of FD and provide new methods for reconstructing the edentulous area of this patient. Case Presentation: A 19-year-old female patient, a known case of FD, gradually lost her teeth since childhood following the occurrence of dental caries, so that three years before the current visit, she had lost all her teeth, and dentures were designed and recommended for her accordingly. Nonetheless, the patient was unable to use the dentures due to severe jawbone resorption. Therefore, a treatment plan for subperiosteal dental implant placement was planned, considering her condition. Conclusion: With the development of three-dimensional technologies, the use of subperiosteal implants is increasing. One of the main advantages of this system is that it enables fixed prosthetic treatment, especially in jaws with advanced bone atrophy, such as observed in the present case.  </Abstract>
